Not for me.....I have felt like a City fan these pastt three months..

Vincent Kompany, like Demba Ba before him and Michael Thomas way before that, is an Everton legend
That goal moved him into the pantheon of non playing Everton legends. A true blue hero. His contribution to mankind shall forever be remembered.

For that alone, I salute thee,
Big Vinny K.

Been a brilliant defender over the years, his amount of injuries will probably mean he is never rated as highly as some other centre halves who have played in the Prem in the last 20 years but he is up there with the very best we have seen. Be ironic if City win Champions League next season when they have seen their rock leave.

I think Kompany is pretty cool guy, eh wins trophies and doesn't afraid of anything.

Seriously though, good luck to Vinnie - he's getting old now, he's an injury magnet and at least he can go out on a high.

One of my favourite players of the modern era. Has fabulous ability and is a colossus of a defender, but has a genuine humility to go with it, which is rare in the celebrity culture of modern football.

I wish him well in his new chapter at Anderlecht.

Totally agree with this. Just wish he'd worn a proper royal blue shirt instead of that wishy-washy shade that City wear.

It now seems almost inevitable that we will win the CL in the not too distant future. I just wish Kompany was here to lift old big ears. Alas:(

Been a great player for us for 11 years. Would have been the best CB in the world if he had remained injury free in my opinion. A bargain for only 8 million.

Legend.

He was always a marvellous player, remember him being the next big thing out of Belgium. Then he went to Hamburg

For me he’s always seemed very grounded and if anyone of your “stars” played the big time charlie they’d be answering to him.

May have got that totally wrong but that’s my perspective.
