I stayed in Hereford for 3 days last year, luckily for me and me mate they had an annual ale festival on, i'm meant to be tee total the doctors tell me but the city was that boring i decided to just get wellied and i ended up smashing some bird behind a portaloo and then vomiting on some lads trainers, i expected a punch but he then vomited himself and fell face first in his sick so i just walked off in search for mints.

Is this match on EvertonTV?

Oh aye yeah they love their cows in Hereford.

Loving your work mate.

It would be a boss day out if your a bit of an ale enthusiast, loads of boss ale with stories of the brewery and stuff, i had one drink that was brewed in Liverpool and it had coffee in it, that was nice like. Other then that they had live music, like bluegrass stuff, and loads of birds of all ages wrecked, very cheap aswell.

Cheap? The women or the beer?

Provisional Everton squad (v Hereford): Spingthorpe, Griffiths, Browning, Garbutt, Bidwell, Hammar, Barkley, Lundstram, Francisco Jnr, McAleny, Hope, Forrester, Green, Grant, Long.

Not many first teamers, then.

Matchday programme supports this roughly thanks :)

XI: Mucha, Browning, Garbutt, Hammar, Bidwell, Junior, Barkley, Lundstram, Hope, Forrester, McAleny.

Pleased I didn't pull out the stops to go to this. It'd be like an expensive trip to Widnes.

0-0 ht, Ross/Lund/Junior looking good in midfield, lack of options last third. Bulls having the best chances and finishing the half strong. COYB

McAleny looks decent.

Hope is making all kinds of great runs, but they're not finding him.

I think we're playing alright. Hereford have had a few chances, but Mucha has saved well.

If Barkley is unable to open up the Hereford then not sure he is worth a first team place, I think Junior will get more game time

Maybe a bit harsh on Barkley, the formation seemed odd, McAleny wasn't effective, (probably because the ref failed to protect him adequately as he was being mauled all game), and Hope's lost a bit over the last year (I'm sure he'll get it back, his effort was fantastic). Browning had a poor first half and Forrester a poor second. Garbutt was quiet.
It may be that our England Under19's and Junior gain a lot from playing with more experienced players alongside. Green didn't feature.
As far as Moyes is concerned, there's probably an obvious reason why Junior featured here and Mr. Duffy took a break.
