If I travel down to this and it's just the reserves I'll be pissed. I need some sort of official confirmation there will be first team involvement. Can't afford to be dishing out for reserve games right now.

I stayed in Hereford for 3 days last year, luckily for me and me mate they had an annual ale festival on, i'm meant to be tee total the doctors tell me but the city was that boring i decided to just get wellied and i ended up smashing some bird behind a portaloo and then vomiting on some lads trainers, i expected a punch but he then vomited himself and fell face first in his sick so i just walked off in search for mints.

Provisional Everton squad (v Hereford): Spingthorpe, Griffiths, Browning, Garbutt, Bidwell, Hammar, Barkley, Lundstram, Francisco Jnr, McAleny, Hope, Forrester, Green, Grant, Long.

Not many first teamers, then.

Yeah, don't think I'll be making the trip for this. Only Barkley and McAleny got minutes in the PL for us last season, so essentially it's our reserves.

I think a couple of years ago the lower league teams that we played pre-season ALL got promoted at the end of it.

Given how superstitious these footy players are I'm surprised they aren't paying us fortunes for a game.

Haven't seen anything to suggest we will send more senior players, still a Reserve fixture on OS, and someone suggested everyone had been given an extra week off...

Dave Prentice on Twitter posted some first teamers might get a look in vs Hereford, and Tranmere on Wednesday.

Though I've just seen the squad that Aberblue posted, so maybe not.
