Decorum isn’t going to refund my train fare and hotel if Arsenal is called off.
And perfectly reasonable to be annoyed if a period of enforced mourning costs you money or causes you other problems- mass cancellation of sport and other activities will cost lots of people a lot of money at a time when it's tighter than ever.

People should be free to mourn the queen or not mourn her but it shouldn't be presumed of anyone. Life should go on and people should make their own decisions.

Like what? CIC is ceremonial.

Queen/King cannot do anything, other than be told what to do by Parliament.
Is it? It is for the Queen to declare war and to who the oath is pledged, and if it came down to it then I bet many would ultimately follow her direction.

Likewise in terms of parliament, the customs which she follows means parliament have authority, at their discretion, which has kept our political system stable.

But she doesn't have to - that's how the balance of our constitutional monarchy works. If she wanted, if she really felt the need to, she has power to act.

For example, if Johhson or any other minister really did cause a scandal and refused to go, through royal prerogative she can dismiss as it's for her to appoint.

If parliament tried to enact a law that they felt incredibly wrong, it would be their prerogative to ensure it did not become law. But they don't due to the precedent.

There's lots more... it may come across as ceremonial, and to some extent it is, but that's due to the status quo that has been maintained now for centuries.
