If Brands gets £30m for a player that's never stepped foot inside Goodison then he can have the keys to the city.

Well to be fair that would be on Walsh? He's the one who signed him for absolute buttons

What happens if say we sold him for 30mill and he turned out to be amazing? Would keep him and see how he does. If it doesn't work out well easily still get money for him given his age

In fairness, it was apparently Koeman who wanted him (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40418808). Either way, yes, credit would be given for sure.

I'd cash in mate personally. To get offered that money for a player who's only ever played in Belgium and Turkey is mad. We take him back and he flops then we get nowhere near that amount. Not that I believe that report for one second, the Turkish press love to play absolute make believe.

Makes perfect sense to sell if those stories are true.

Big money for a player we've effectively never had who plays in a position we have several players for already.

Even if he's good, he's only done it in Belgium and Turkey so it's a risk.

We're going to be trying to shift a lot of players and many at a loss this summer so getting anywhere near that quoted price for Onyekuru would be good business to compensate for that. Not to mention player trading is crucial to our spending power.

The reason we are trying to shift a lot of players is to get the wage bill down.
Young (relatively low wages) players with bags of potential like Onyekuru really should be the way forward. Keep.
