Henry and Carragher...

The radio mentioned yesterday about post match analysis of our 4-0 win. Not sure when or where, but it said Terry Henry mentioned what about talking about how good Everton were, turning to Carragher and said you used to be a blue! Anyone seen it or got a clip??

Yeh he did say that, !!

Carragher is obviously a red now. Same way Peter Reid is now a blue.

There is a clip of him jumping up like mad celebrating when Mane scored against us last minute.

Defo a red now.
Of course he's a bloody red now, he played his whole career with them. If he wasn't I'd give him a clip around the ear just like I would Peter Reid if he said he was now a red again.

Well I wouldn't give Peter a clip forget I said that.

Yes lol

And he added "maybe you still are" and laughed.

So did Carragher ;)

Yeah good pundit, off camera pretty sure he, and Fowler for that matter, are blues. Remember the tattoo rumors a while back about him wearing long sleeves to hide his tattoo of Ruperts Tower haha

In McMananamanaman's book he says that in training games at Melwood, every time he leapt into the air for a header on goal he yelled out "Latchforrrrrrrrrd" at the top of his voice :)

Why though? Latch left in 81, Carragher must have been born 79/80 ish? He'd have no recollection of the great Latch. His era would have been Sharp/Heath/Gray/Lineker.

You couldn't miss Peter Reid's ear.

I've heard Carragher speak about Everton without any malice at all. Not saying he isn't a red, but still.

McManaman has come back, though, I believe. Judging by things he's said in the paper with his own bye line.

He stood up and fist pumped. It was quite reserved. Compare to his reaction when we scored against United...;)
He just knows where his paying support comes from- Tellypool FC

Spot on. If you have a spare 5 minutes read a couple of articles from yesterday's echo, firstly Aldridge saying Utd were a disgrace with long ball tactics and Liverpool should have won, and then the tit Walsh saying the RS might have an advantage in the title run in as they have 10 games at home remaining ( Chelsea have 9 and the rest have 8 ).

I honestly try to read such articles to see if I can keep a straight face but I can't, I just think "you tit". It's written for the cult by one of their own because once you are brainwashed in their ways, your basically screwed.

Carra's comment today is hilarious:

Everton have a high standard of youth players coming through the ranks and they should be praised, but we must also mention Liverpool.
We are lucky lots are coming through both clubs.

W T F !!!

WHY, Why must he mention both clubs? Is it the bullets in the post from the people who post things such as 'I've just had cheese on toast. YNWA'
on social media?

They brought some undoubted talent through their ranks in the late 90's but they have produced sod all of note since Gerrard.

Laughable bunch of cultists.

Imagine in a few years:
'Everton's new waterfront is a state of the art arena and will bring huge funds into the city, but we must also give a mention to the big Meccano stand at Anfield' Both stadia are at the forefront of the world game'.

Spot on analysis of us last night by Carragher. Praising our record of youth development while stating that there hasn't been enough of these players who have gone on to be Everton legends. Lets hope and pray that 2 or 3 of the present young players who have broken through turn that around.
