I'd take him just for the expierence he would give us. Also that and he is a threat no matter how old he is. He simply knows where the net is.
 

I would cream myself if we got The LEgend in, would be the best transfer buissness done in the prem this summer, he is trully world class still! Head and shoulder above anyone been bandied about for 15mill.
 
I'm not so sure we need him now, we have Yakubu, Saha, Vaughan, Anichebe and Cahill as our forwards. 5 strikers for me is enough.

Bringing Larsson in would disrupt that and probably stop one of our young guns from getting a chance. Obviously if Vic is going to on loan then it would be a good idea but I don't think he is. We also have Obinna who can play upfront.

Don't get me wrong I love the fella, excellent centre forward and one of my favorite players ever but I'm happy with the frontline at the moment.
 
I wouldnt bring him to play as an out and out forward but to play in the hole behind the front two in the Cahill role and as cover, he is still world class.

He would be immense in Europe and coming of the bench, would be a top top signing!

if he's a boyhood evertonian thats all the sweeter, lets have him signed up ASAP, please don't let him go to the spurs though, lets face it they're beneath him
 
If this happens, then Moyes having brought the average age of the squad right down aims to prove how hardcore he is by having it increase past the average under Walter Smith. Deadline day signing of Richard Gough, anyone?

Okay, I'm exaggerating. He seemed to do pretty well for Helsingsborg last season in the UEFA Cup. Notched a few goals if I remember rightly. I'd have loved to have him with us back when he was with Celtic, but not so sure now.

Why would he get booed

and for anyone who belittles his status as a Celtic legend criticising the SPL etc, look at him winning the champions league with Barca and his short spell with manure

He'd get booed after every loss like the rest of the team.
 
Larsson is a quality player. No doubt about that.

But we don't need another striker now. We just don't.

We need someone who can boss the middle of the park, hold the ball, make some incisive passes, and create scoring opportunities for others as well as score on his own.

No more strikers please.
