We do, we just REALLY REALLY REALLY NEED FULL BACKS, and we already have a few midfielders on the books. KDH is not a 10 so if we drop him back we'll need a better 10 for sure, but CM is sorted more or less.
Full backs we have 0 of, yet going for more midfielders that will sit on the bench.
The fact we’re so reliant on a 47 year old Gana Gueye speaks volumes.

Well, we concede loads of goals with effectively two 6's, and bypass midfield on the rare occasions we're in possession by hoofing right over our midfield. It's hard to see how we develop our midfield with this manager, not that it's hard to appreciate a better midfield.

Well I feel extremely negative about the club at the moment, and can't stand David Moyes - so no reason to think that I'm giving things a positive spin.
I've always liked Hackney. He’s a very good footballer, always one of the best in the Championship, and I've always been surprised that he hasn’t moved to the PL yet. So, yes, I would be pleased with this signing.
However, though we need better in CM, that position certainly isn't the priority. And Moyes in charge continues to be our biggest issue.
Dave, if you haven't hear of him then that's on you. I know I certainly have and would be more than happy to see him at the club. He needs polished and DM, despite your loathing, has shown time and time again his ability to do exactly this.
To the people who have watched him: what's he like out of possession? I've found a few reports saying he's lacking/not tracking back/etc., which would make this even weirder as a transfer.
Surely Paul smith or Michael jones are more British
Be very happy with this one, I know he does not play young players as such....BUT he does play a certain type of young player, and he is it.
I mean, you just sort of have to assume that we're not only going to sign one player this summer don't you? I'm not saying I trust them to do everything we need doing but I just don't see how this would change that in the slightest. As I said, for me anyone who thinks central midfield is sorted has extraordinarily low expectations of what a PL midfield should be, I honestly don't really know how someone could watch us and think that we're fine there but fair enough we all see it differently.
