I also saw us concede late goals to throw away our hopes of Europe in every game he played in the run in.

Something which has been a common theme when playing him ever since that Bournemouth capitulation when we conceded 3 goals after 85 minutes.

Obviously it’s not his fault we didn’t end up getting Europe this season, but I’d bet that we’d have seen more of those games out had Gueye been available.

Gueye has been terrible this season.

Iroegbunam is potentially levels above peak-Gueye.

Let's retain our young talent and develop them.

Most of those saying move him on are doing so knowing we have Moyes here who cant develop young midfield talent. I can understand that. But Moyes is short term and TI is long term, or should be.

But sadly, we look a much better team with him in it still.

Game awareness: reading the game is what caused Barkley not to reach the top
He had all the other attributes necessary to be a top PL player

….agree with you, very good foresight playing O’Brien at RB. As you hint, it’s impossible to change a full squad in one summer window, not every position can be filled so hopefully we address RB this time. O’Brien has filled in pretty well for the main part.
