Found twenty quid on the way to the shop once. Thought "well no one's about and it's only twenty quid" so put it in my pocket and realised the £20 I had was gone.

Turns out I'd just dropped it then picked it back up again ffs.

.....not me, but a couple of years ago Little Eggs told me he found a purse on the floor in a Liverpool night club. He said it was crammed with cash and cards. He handed it into the barmaid, which was very naïve but at least showed his heart is in the right place.

The Mrs in Cairns (when skint as well I should add) we went in the Post Restante and after handing her passport in was handed a jiffy bag with her name on, about $1100aus in it for someone with the same name, she handed it back in & wrote on it explaining why it had been opened, pointed out to PO Staff that the right person probably had an irish passport due to other id things in it.
Then we had super noodles or some other 20 cent abomination due to be being broker than our defence at the moment.



In Holland, all went into the ATM bit of the bank and the person before my mate had left a huge wad of Gilders in the m/c, never seen the lad move as fast and disappear tbh. The quiet one that we were having in Beverwijk instantly became 6 of us jumping on the train into Amsterdam and blowing the lot. We wouldn't use that branch of ABM-Amro after that and would divert around it due to paranoia as the inside atm bit was camera'd up to high heaven.
The fact that my mate and the rest of us were instantly recognisable as well to almost everyone in the town was com pletely lost on us all, never got a knock on the door though.

Well as promised I have returned with my story.
A few years ago I went to the Road,Race + Superbike show at Alexandria Palace in North London with a couple of friends and my younger brother for a day out.
All was going well as we had complementary tickets for the show and skipped the rail fare down to London from our local station to save a few quid to spend on beer.
Walking round just after lunchtime I spotted a wallet on the floor and stopped to pick it up. Moving out of the flow of people I opened it up to find no details of the owner but £450 in used notes.
On leaving the show we headed into town for a few beers and a bite to eat which was paid for out of my find. I gave £50 each to my brother and my two friends and pocketed the rest.
A GOOD DAY WAS HAD BY ALL!!

Found £50 and a line of white powder completely unattended in the toilets of Porter's in Covent Garden once.

Other than that, last month found about £300 in an ATM on Victoria Station (the one by the Patisserie Valerie stall, if anyone knows it) that amazingly hadnt been made off with by any of the twenty people in queues nearby. The girl who had left it came back just as the station staff turned up.

Found $95 dollars in a cubicle by the bog roll in a Olive Garden in Florida once, needless to say i bought a limited edition refill cup at Universal studios the next day...
