I had the replica kit in 1987, I was a big big fan of Big Nev.

I've been tempted to get one in the sale since as they are a nice alternative to the playing kit, but only if they are in green or yellow. Wouldn't want to pay full price though, £55/60 is a bit steep for me!

Nev was class.

Bought a Pickford black and blue kit for my son earlier this season. He likes playing in goal and is only 6. Jordan is/was his favourite player at the time. He changes his favourite quite a lot!

I got a couple when i was younger due to Big Nev.

There was one with diamond shapes on it, remember talking about it with my chum.

There's diamonds on it, I said.
Real Diamonds? he enquired wide eyed.
Yes, I replied, wondering why he was so impressed with diamond shapes.
Won't that hurt ? he asked pathetically.
Not *actual* diamonds, I said, exasperated at his stupidity.

We laughed.

I used to go in goal when the keeper got injured/didn't turn up, as I actually enjoyed it, launching yourself around and that, so when I was a kid I had the southall all black top and pagliuca inter top, gave them away to a lid who goes the african nations tourny and takes loads of old tops to give away to kids, got photos somewhere of some young african lad in the southall top in the blistering heat

About 10 years ago I tried to get one through EBay, I stopped at £100. If the young African lad had some entrepreneurial skills that would have been on the way back to blighty and he would be the richest person in the village.

I'll admit I bought a Pickford one a couple of weeks back as a spur of the moment purchase when I went to go and buy my new dog an Everton collar and leash.

I've not had a keeper kit since I was a kid. Usually they are well naff but the blue and black one this year I thought was alright.

I had one as a nipper and one I inherited from my grandma. Problem is, wear a gk kit and people expect you to go in goal when you play footy. I am horrendous in goal.

Some of our keeper kits are pretty nice but will admit I've never bought one.

2000/01 kit is especially nice. Wouldn't be able to fit in a Puma shirt though like

Had the 06/07 kit with Howard on the back in football trainings. 10-year old me would've brought the competition Wessels/Mucha never did for Timmy H
