You got to back the philosophey.

Personally I think we've had to many injuries at the back.
No mate we look like a mike walker team the way we knock it about for 30 mins a time in our own half. To be doing that the players HAVE to be operating under instructions.

Injuries have had an impact on the season but we still have a squad capable of getting the 3 points. Last season players had to go out and prove everybody wrong. Pundits tipped Everton for a relegation scrap and we used that to get results and play good football. At the same time we still had Moyes' defensive awareness in their minds but now that has been erased. We can ask the same question to Lukaku, last season he was amassing defenders for fun, this season a complete shadow. Gareth Barry has made a few mistakes after being immense last year. I'm afraid to say that this isn't a dip in form and it is more to do with mentality.

I never thought I'd say this, but thank goodness Alcaraz is in contention for the City game. Distin has become a liability. A decent center half signing in January, McCarthy and Naismith fit again, and we should be ok. Tim Howard's having an inconsistent season. Maybe signing a new goalkeeper to keep him on his toes wouldn't hurt either.

I have to conclude that many Everton fans, or at least those that post on here, suffer from mid to long term memory loss.

We have been in a far worse position at this point of the season many times in previous years. Moyes had us 16th at one point after 14 games.

You cannot ever judge a season after 14 games.
