6 hours to get from Essex saying previously 'you only heard whispers on the forum' to trying to get you to prove that it was 'the vast majority discussing it'?
That's slow progress.. me and the missus go from me being slightly lazy to a completely lazy b****t to her in the car and staying at her mates in 20 minutes... Sort your heads out and get a move on.. we've a more appropriate thread to get back to.

Honestly the sole reason I'd still take Kenwright over Johnson is as least Kenwright never drove a decent manager out. Does anyone honestly doubt that we'd have a better much time of it if only Royes had been convinced to stay then we ended up with under Kendal mark 3 and Smith.

Honestly you'd struggle to find a single manager in our history to have a better first eighteen months of the job than Royle and we forced him out of the club, shameful.

His first two seasons were just like Moyes only even better.

Moyes keeps us up, Royle keeps us up and wins a trophy. Moyes takes us to 7th the next year, Royle takes us to 6th.

I can only assume that if Royle had stayed on another two years, we'd have finished 3rd. Man's a legend.

You can't make an assumption like that. Yeah he was great when he came in. Beating the RS, away win at Chelsea, etc. Did brilliantly to get us to 6th and win the Cup. The signings of Big Dunc and Kanchelskis.

Then he became the first Everton manager to lose 6 league games in a row. His relationship with Johnson turned sour as it did with the local media. Would have liked him to stay on myself but it's hard to know which way it would have gone if he had.
