Thats what I found dead weird. His lawyers obvs wernt there, so all they could say was "Our client says ABC". Hardly convincing. Unless the other lads were there to corroborate.

Only the Mail, typically, talk about 'shame'. If you read into the articles, the subtleties of how the whole fracas / affair is worded is in my opinion fairly cautious.

Compare that with other incidents and how they're portrayed, such as with Sterling, and it's fair to question whether there's ulterior motives behind that.
