2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

Gordon was the target...fair play to Yerry,he fronted it.
If Gordon was the target then the perpetrators were even more stupid than they seemed - Yerry Mina looks nothing like Anthony Gordon. I mean, they've got different hairstyles for a start.

They weren't targeting specific players, they tried to stop any car they could. Gordon only drew more publicity because he sat smirking at them.

Maybe so mate.

Just for purpose of debate do you think it's myth that local blues are held to a higher standard?

I think that when questions are asked by the fanbase of players who've come through the academy it's a lazy assumption that people are holding them to a higher standard than any other players.

If a player, lets say Alex Iwobi for example, had been homegrown then during the times he split opinions of supporters, there'd have been a section of the fanbase insisting he was being unfairly judged because he's a local lad.

I've never seen or heard a supporter saying homegrown players should contribute more than other players, have you? Quite the opposite in fact, I've often seen and heard fans questioning whether a player signed from elsewhere is justifying their fee or wages.

I genuinely don't understand the stick that Tim gets on here
He’s not very good?

Really limited on the ball, continuously gives it away needlessly and for his size, doesn’t impose his physicality during matches. Doesn’t score, doesn’t assist. Doesn’t really do anything?

Fine if you want to be a mid table side plodding along. He doesn’t start for many (if any) PL teams.

You could put Garner at right back as he gets forwards better there drop a CB & put O'Brien in there with more pace at CH - & play Harrison Armstrong with Tim ....
I’d say there’s relatively zero chance that Moyes starts two young players in centre mid in the prem unless he has no other options. One of Gana, garner or KDH will always play there when fit (for what it’s worth we are a much better team imo with garner at right back)

He can send HA back to Preston after our selection of players is over - throw Dwight in the same taxi too:D

Aren't you a ray of sunshine tonight..
