2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

Stuart McCall at Preston

“No, no. I totally understand where David’s coming from,” the Preston coach explained.

“If you look, he’s got a couple of boys away and Dewsbury-Hall is injured so it maybe possibly makes sense for him to call him back, but hopefully not for too long.

“You know, he can’t go and play for anyone else. I think if you asked Harrison and, to be fair, if you asked David, he would like Harrison staying but I think needs must.”

So it appears as though theyre open to Armstrong coming back and then going back to Preston on loan before Feb 2nd.

I'd be in favour of this ;)

Well they don't have a choice really so best to stay on Everton's good side. I'm not sure bringing Armstrong back mid season is good for him,but it gives us another body.

If that's the arrangement I think it makes great sense .

It wasn’t a move I was aware of, just have to see what happens.

…..after his performance against Arsenal, Armstrong isn’t going to leapfrog Iroegbunam. He’s also not going to start ahead of Garner or in a wide position.

You’d hope KDH is fit to return at the beginning of January so the midfield places largely pick themselves. If he is recalled it would only be as cover and even then he maybe behind Rohl and Alcaraz in the pecking order.

Insurance for injuries and suspensions but maybe not getting used even before Gueye returns.

I could see Moyes bringing him back if the club wants to sell McNeil in January. It could be decent money on the table that we wont see again.

Moyes played Armstrong on the right in the Summer.

He is not a right winger...if this is the case, then ndiaye better not get injured
