2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

I was told this before they appointed him and I posted it several months back. I trust the person who told me this information. Personally I hope it doesn't happen, as I don't think he warrants the current manager's post, let alone becoming a senior adviser etc! It will then effect the people that we recruit to coach/manage the team after he goes. The above is why I'm not convinced that Moyes wasn't the plan all along. Who knows for sure. Depressingly I think he won't be punted unless he massively fails (which i don't think he will do) or the fans really turn against him, which seems unlikely at the minute. Ultimately it really doesn't say much for TFG"s ambition and personally I'd rather we had done the deal with Bell and Downing, who at least both want Everton to get back to the very top of the pile.

I should also add that Ranieri is a lot better manager than Moyes as his record shows.
No Ranieri isn't a lot better than Moyes. Ranieri like Rodgers is a feast or famine manager with no consistency of results. Moyes is more reliable and consistent who may not hit the same heights but will give you a consistent platform to work from

That might be his ceiling but tim is only 22 and when he has been able to get a run of games he has been able to accrue some decent defensive stats. So he has to the potential whether it's realized is a different story. Also if we have serious aims to develop a more competitive team a reliable squad player is still a needed piece of the puzzle

I think thats the difference.

The hope with Armstrong is that he becomes ours and Englands next star.

With Iroegbunam the height of my belief in him would be to bring him on a sub when we need someone to make a lot of tackles.

Do we really want players like that or perhaps we can sell and reinvest in the next Armstrong.

Cant see him as anything more than a squad player.

You know we need squad players right??
