MOTM - last time he appeared in the first team .I do feel some of those who wanted him to stay and be played occasionally would be the same ones baying for blood when he made his first error during a PL match.

No this lad is class - if you're good enough age does not matter....
So you he would learn more playing 5-10 mins occasionally than playing week in week out. You seem to be dismissing the value of regular championship football on his development whilst at the same time using his performances in the championship as clear evidence of his ability. You can’t have it both ways. He’s nowhere near ready for the premier league. That was obvious in preseason. He might not be ready next year either. He’s only 18 and has plenty of time to develop. You’re a bit unhinged on this issue. It’s completely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Let it go and move on.No - not week in week out - but could have been used plus experience around the first team a great experience plus his training etc...
Did I mention 5-10 minutes- No -So you he would learn more playing 5-10 mins occasionally than playing week in week out. Would he have been brought on in any league game so far this season? The answer is no.Did I mention 5-10 minutes- No -
No doubt, I just don’t feel we’re the most forgiving fanbase for young players coming through..No this lad is class - if you're good enough age does not matter....
Good post, and unlike the vast majority here you’re taking time to watch him, then comment sensibly on his play. From what I’ve seen of him at Preston so far he’s doing exactly what you’d expect of him, playing in a similar style to when he was at Derby, a bit further forward . But PNE are a far better team than Derby and will be pushing for a play off spot so a bigger challenge and a bigger chance to make his mark. All a bit pointless now moaning about where he should be, it’s where he is now and how he’s doing that counts. He was very good, I agree with this 100%.
However he ain't ready for the weekly grind of the Prem, not yet. He is learning football the proper way. I'm happy to watch him learn his trade at Preston playing real footy in a less brutal league, and fan base, than I would be listening to clueless knobheads destroying the kid for a misplaced pass against Leeds at home.
The kid is doing great where he is so far. Let him spread his wings up the road for a season. No need to rush him.
I am fuming with DM - Preston his former team doing them a favour while we sit two keepers on the bench like last Sunday singing his praises then rinse & repeat with another loan - Blackburn - Derby plus others were itching to sign him on loan but it had to be his old buddies club - he then gets a 21 German loaned who if he had googled hasa bad injury list -Good post, and unlike the vast majority here you’re taking time to watch him, then comment sensibly on his play. We just keep OAPs then ? -He's a young kid, he's out on loan, whether people think that was the right decision or the right club doesn't matter now as it's done.
Just be happy we've got a good young lad on our cards.
I've watched each of his games at preston, and i just come on here to update how things are going/looking with the lad.
The kind of thing i would want to know about a player..
This doesn't need to be a thread about 'I told you so' !
Just keep an eye on the lad and see how things progress, we should be happy for him and this should be a 'Safe thread' for the time being atleast..
Not sure what you mean m8,We just keep OAPs then ? -
Harrison Armstrong is an amazing talent
He needs the lengthy contract not just 2 years - think back to Rooney - sold for United cast offs - who under the traitor DM !
Just hope that the club has a plan for him and what type or mid they see him as, does look like has talent . Just dont want see another price situation leaves because no plan. He's a young kid, he's out on loan, whether people think that was the right decision or the right club doesn't matter now as it's done.

Our squad will be short when the AFCON starts did DM look that far ahead - he would not know a good full back if one bit him either - way back in June we needed TWO full backs ....?Not sure what you mean m8,
He'll be back kicking down the door soon..
( We're not trying to sell him )
I think you know Joey it was more down to our mate Bill selling RooneyWe just keep OAPs then ? -

Yes does no hid the fact DM snide the way he left us - TO me now we need a younger Manager if Lee Carsley became available I would take him as he knows how youngsters can play in a side ....I think you know Joey it was more down to our mate Bill selling Rooney
