No - not week in week out - but could have been used plus experience around the first team a great experience plus his training etc...
So you he would learn more playing 5-10 mins occasionally than playing week in week out. You seem to be dismissing the value of regular championship football on his development whilst at the same time using his performances in the championship as clear evidence of his ability. You can’t have it both ways. He’s nowhere near ready for the premier league. That was obvious in preseason. He might not be ready next year either. He’s only 18 and has plenty of time to develop. You’re a bit unhinged on this issue. It’s completely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Let it go and move on.
