He doesn't need to start every game and probably shouldn't at his age

I think the best thing to do right now is declare him a world beater and place all hope for a glorious Everton revival on his shoulders whist demanding David Moyes plays him.

He's definitely good enough to be in the squad, the question is whether we bring in enough new players to make it possible for him to go out on loan again.

No problem with him staying, provided he is making the match day squad most weeks and getting regular minutes on the pitch. If, however, we strengthen midfield and he is going to be a rarely used player, he needs to go out on a decent loan.

I think the fact that he is versatile will help his chances a lot. It's a big step up, but he has shown the ability to play from deep. For that reason, I think he will stay.

Looks good enough to be in and around the first team, I'd hold off on a loan for the lad and see how close he is to starting first, maybe a January loan if he's not getting minutes. It has to be a good level though, he needs the next step

For me, ever since the 5 sub rule it makes more sense to keep players. The manager has to play them though. As said above we can see where he is at in January. Unless he absolutely stinks out the preseason, I think he stays.

Whether it’s going or staying we need to do what’s best for him and his development. He’s a special talent.

Personally I feel like Branthwaite before him a year of first team football would be brilliant for him.

If he stays out of necessity we’ve failed him.
