I know calzones but my mind is blown by the concept of putting kebab meat and fries in one. (The mind thing might be the Kloster Andechs bock beers as well!)

You can get all kinds in them. Seen a pepperoni, ham and pineapple calzone before lol

i always had a full-english when the caffs opened, then bed. worked wonders to prevent later grogginess.

miss that caff-culture here in germany (where all we got at that time of the morning are boring bakers).

Very basic, but pizza for me. That's on the rare occasion I get a hangover these days, have had a bit of a late renaissance in that regard these last few years. Yes, I put my trousers on one leg at a time

in London we called them caffs, rather than caff-ays. a.k.a Greasy Spoon.

maybe a dying breed these days, not sure. lived there between '98-'05. i was a regular, even had tabs if short on cash. often seen with hangover+broadsheet and a mug of strong tea with the fry-up. always felt great after wolfing down all that grub.
