Half and half scarves

A mate of mine always used to drink a pint of "Chinese", which was half lager, half bitter - both were usually the cheapest ones they had on sale in the bar.

….that’s called ‘golden’ up here.

Brown/Bitter another popular one from my youth. When I started playing men’s footy the old blokes got me off lager. A bottle of Mann’s Brown ale with either half bitter or mild was the way to go.

Yes that is spot on my memory is getting worse - drank it - not that good TBH - when I moved up North went in a pub with my workmates asked for a lager - they just fetched me a pint of mixed back & I was hooked on it - it was fantastic ...

Snakebite used to be popular at uni back in the early seventies. Lager and cider as I recall. Hard to dance eleganty in platform shoes after a few.

I was already to post a vomit emoji but then I realised a wore a half Everton half Celtic bobble hat years back but a shirt might be taking it too far.
I don't think it would go down as well.

I know half and half scarves are more collectible for the tourist fans. But local fans who purchase them or anybody reading this, would you wear a half and half shirt?
The only one I would ever consider wearing would be if we arranged a friendly with the Everton team in chile and the proceeds went to charity.

The only half and half shirt I ever bought was for the WC finals Italia 90 and was half Ireland, half Italy. No idea where it is now.

Great memories of that adventure. Toto Schillaci and Gianlucca Vialli RIP.

I would buy a half and half Everton scarf with Shamrock Rovers natch, with Bayern in memory of 1985, and with Lazio or Verona, my Italian teams.

I also have a few Everton/Ireland scarves, bought at GP over the years. The oldest is from the early 80s.
