Voted Schneiderlin. Was quality. Could have been Rooney or Pickford. Think Sigurdsson was quiet first half but that goal. Might as well vote that our goal of the season now cos we're not scoring better. Williams hadn't put a foot wrong until the penno and Martina had a good solid game with some dangerous deliveries. Only Lookman and Besic weren't up to snuff tonight for me. Good aggregate win against a tough team. Here's to the Group of Death we'll inevitably be drawn into tomorrow.

Opta have provided us with some stats from this evening. My favourite is this one:

• The Toffees registered more shots on target in the opening 14 seconds of the second half than they did in the entire first half (0).

Here are some others:

• Everton have won nine their last 11 European games (inc. qualifiers), losing the other two matches.
• For the second consecutive campaign under Ronald Koeman, Everton have not lost any of their opening six games of the season in all competitions (W4 D2).
• Everton have now progressed from each of their last two Europa League qualifying phases (also in 2009/10 under David Moyes).
• Josip Radosevic's opener ended an Everton run of 313 minutes without conceding in European competition under Ronald Koeman.

Some very good performances tonight, Schneiderlin, Sigurdsson and Pickford, but for his all-round contribution, I went for Rooney... just.

Snides was brilliant but we saw great performances all over the pitch and what a penalty save........

Was between 3 for me. Went pickford purely on the way he made himself huge in that goal and 100% confidence in saving that penalty. Old head on young shoulders great signing... Welcome back Aaron great to see you lad in the shirt!

I like the way we defend in packs, it's like the old dogs of war but with real talent. Some of our football was beautiful.......

Tough to choose for MOTM, four really good options, but it's Pickford for me, two massive massive saves that proved to be the difference. Aside from his shot stopping, he continued the trend of pulling off a couple of passes this match that just make you shake your head, he's absolutely unreal with the ball at his feet.

Normally I would never give someone MOTM for a single goal or piece of skill but for that he gets it !
