Chris
a whole wheel of cheese?
As it still is tomorrow.
If you dont think we can beat Newcastle at home you really have fallen out of your optimism tree.
It's not really though Mick. I mean an optimist would say it is, but a realist would say it is not in our favour if you look at both teams run-in and take in form as a consideration.
A victory at Arsenal away? No way! A single point at best but it would probably have to be our best performance of the season to coax that out at the Emirates. Check Arsenals home record, then check our results history against them, it speaks for itself. We are simply not playing well enough to generate the levels of optimism you are displaying Mick

Newcastle, for some horrible reason, are playing well lately. Sure we may well put in a performance against them, but after watching us play our last handful of games mostly with gritted teeth interspersed with cries of "for [Poor language removed] sake" etc (bearing in mind this will be post Arsenal game too). A win here would be a resounding <Borat>Great Success!!</Borat>. I have hope, but we'll see.
Villa on the other hand will take all remaining 6 points I feel and have a single goal difference point now, no idea what it will be at season end.
The game against Arsenal is as big as it gets other than a cup final. We NEED a point here and we NEED to beat Newcastle. If we don't earn a draw at Arsenal then pray to god West Ham step up and beat Villa, it will be our only hope.
I can see the next 2 weeks are going to be hell to be an Evertonian. Then silly season begins...
