He really wasn't though.

He already has 1 goal and 1 assist for us from open play in 7 games. That is the same record he had last year. Only thing missing are set piece goals and assists. He is touching the ball more for us and completing more passes than he did on average last year.

This isn't Siggy in poor form, this is what he is.

He's proved to be about as good as I expected really, hampered even further by playing for a manager that doesn't have a clue, but as a player he wasn't all that in the first place.

I actually think he's taken a fair few decent ones but for some reason our players don't like to get stuck in and get their head on the end of them. Not enough desire to be winning some of the corners and free kicks imo

I thought he was a good player in a poor team at Swansea, not a player who'd help take us up a level.
