Still struggling to see what this guy offers on the pitch... Lacks pace, doesn't influence the game, hasn't shown much vision in his passing game, doesn't threaten goal too often.

It may just be that he's played out of position, but not seen much from him so far.

Don’t get what he does, didn’t get the hype at Swansea when everyone was jizzing themselves at how amazing he was.

Thought he was badly overrated then

Doesn't help that he is playing out of position and don't have anyone running or to aim at up top.

It's like having your brown sauce but no bacon sandwich to put it onto.

Been saying it for a while 45 million for an impersonator of this fella

Exact same questions about his position, same lack of pace, both decent long range shooting and very inconsistent type of players while lacking any real creative ability in open play (i'd personally say Billy was more creative in all honesty).

Sig's career will take the exact same path unless we have a target man type for him to do the only thing he's really good at which is delivering a cross the same as a set piece.

Looks like a player who used to be surrounded by substandard attacking players and then jumped out of the frying pan into the fire.

Feel sorry for the lad.

Fantastic at Swansea as everything went through him and he had so much movement around him. Here he's pushed out for Rooney and is surrounded by static slugs.

If thats the way Koeman wanted to play, he should have spent the £45mill elsewhere.

He is like virtually the whole team at present (bar DCL and niasse) short on confidence in a side that is desperately struggling. There are so many players in our side that are off the pace and lacking in confidence it's unbelievable.

Swansea never had top quality but ine thing they did do was play lovely, fluid football. Thats what he's accustomed to. There are absolutely no runners here at all, nobody can be bothered to move around.

Bang on mate.

Not reflected in any stats. He touched the ball around 25 times a game (which is really low). This idea he was some playmaking #10 baffles me.
