Not really, look at all the players ahead of him in the score charts last season, they all costs less, 90m was crazy money. Dont forget Rom himself kept the fee low because he was open about not wanting to stay, United knew we had no choice but to take what ever we got, the fee was fine, us wasting it and not getting a striker is seperate issue.
Just like the fee for Siggy was fine, it was us that wanted the player and we made it known he was priority, while Swansea did the right thing for themselves by playing hard, but they also got it wrong once the deal was done which is why they went down.
