We tried to get Monchi from Sevilla.

Just like we tried to get Giroud from Arsenal this summer.

Just a point I like to make when people say 'we didn't try'.

We did, we just didn't get it done. Which in a sense is the main issue throughout the club and has been for years.

Why Lukaku was allowed to leave before someone was already signed and sealed is criminal. There was no rush to sell, Man U and Chelsea both wanted him. He had 2 years left on a deal, we were in such a strong position and now look like total amateurs

I've said it before and i'll say it again. Players like him just dont do well in the premier league, the same can be said for the likes of David Silva and Sergio Aguero. He would shine elsewhere but not in England, cut our losses.
