I'd be interested in seeing him link up with Baines as he made Martin Olsson look like the player Roberto Carlos wanted to be in the second-half of the season* and that guy has feet made of Lego. The transfer fee looks high but I've lost all proportion of that this summer.

That's a great plan except at the moment that leaves Jags or Funes Mori in the XI

Think he'd be a decent acquisition. He was head and shoulders the best player at goodison when they played us this year and if we sign a big fella to play up top then I think he'd be an astute signing... that said, he doesn't represent great value at 35m given his age. Would like to think we could source a younger alternative in europe.
