Can't remember how many games he played in the Euros but Iceland did ok too.
I always think when a lesser team does well that they always have at least one really good underrated player, it could be him.

When Iceland beat England he was by far the best player on the pitch IMO even though the other Sigurdsson won MOTM.

When Iceland beat England he was by far the best player on the pitch IMO even though the other Sigurdsson won MOTM.

If he proves he is better than the Icelander he will play, if not it's nice to have options. He is versatile and will provide good competition, something we have a serious lack of.

Iceland ISNT a Barkley replacement, they both play better at number 10, but I honestly cant see Ronny playing a 10, Barkley if he stays will be expected to play as an 8 or on the right wing, Iceland a number 8 or left wing.

But at times we might play a number 10, his signing gives us options.

Ross Barkley was our only "number 10" all last season, so adding "another" is only a good thing.
