Gylfi Sigurdsson

I'm a big fan of Sigurdsson. His set pieces ability would provide an instant upgrade over anyone currently in our club. He will put in an honest days work every time he is on the pitch. Isn't afraid to work defensively. I believe his creativity is vastly underrated. He admittedly struggled at the spurs was deployed almost exclusively on the wing for which he is not quick enough. Siggy, Barkley, Carvalho/Schneiderlin would be a massive CM

This is where I am on this, or any transfer...

Does the manager want him? Yes?

Who is arsed how much it costs, sign him.

The markets are mental, we've seen Jordan ibe move for £15m who's greatest achievement was hitting the post in a derby ffs.

Sig wouldn't be my first choice but luckily the people in charge know more than me.

Bottom line if Koeman wants him, get him in.

Better than Witsel or Wijnaldum. Great at set pieces and will definitely give 100%.

Good player, but we would be overpaying for him. It would be difficult to fit him in the team with Barkley as well. Hopefully we aim higher in the next few weeks.

I'd bet this does not happen. Premiere League teams don't need money and I can't see why any would give up their best players for short-term gain, especially a team like Swansea that flirted with relegation last year. Look at Barahino, he pouted like a 6 year-old through all of last season and he's still at West Brom.

If you want a team's best player you'll have to buy them from Europe. I don't expect any English teams to sell anyone who they don't consider surplus, except for a few exceptions, like if we sell Stones for FFP reasons.

Ffp is a UEFA thing, we aren't in Europe, why would we sell Stones to comply?

Would happily have Gylfi here as I've said before that I think he's a pretty good talent, and would certainly be an addition to our squad.

Nor do I think £25m would be overpaying - not a bargain by any stretch of the imagination but in the current situation I'd say it's a fair price.
