Watching liverpool's midfield there just now. It's like 2 different worlds between any one of our players but for example gylfi workrate and mobility and movement and a pick of any one of theirs. Forget about ability on the ball. It's the work rate and intensity off the ball. Honestly 2 different worlds.

Exactly. If we had a team full of 70% athletes and 30% actual top quality players I genuinely think we'd be better. If we had a brilliant goalkeeper, a striker to guarantee 20 goals a season and a creative playmaking machine in the centre of the park, surrounded by decent but not spectacular players who at least work their socks off and give it their all for 95 minutes each week we'd definitely be challenging. Basically like the best years of Moyes, but with three top quality players in the mix.
A bit like when Leicester won the league - they basically had Kante, Mahrez and Vardy at superstars, then had genuinely bog standard players like Morgan, Albrighton, Schmeichel, Ozaki, Ulloh, etc playing way above their levels by working hard and being lifted by the better players in the side. Won them the title and got them to CL quarter finals.
