This. At 30 who else is going to pay him over 100k a week. Same as Morgan. We would have to give them away for nothing and probably still be asked to make a contribution to future wages.

As Gylfi is still an international he may take a pay cut to keep playing but he may just be happy picking up the money for another season and then get loaned out or take the hit for his final year.

One thing that’s become lost in his sea of gutless cowardly performances, is just how poor a technical footballer he is. He can’t trap a bag of cement, it looks like so much effort for him to bring any pass under control. Just simply woeful in every single department.

Rate him or not but the guy can control a ball. To me he looks like he's lost a yard and that sharp reaction like he appeared to have soon after joining.

Just doesn't look mobile enough for the prem anymore.
