He is like the symbol of our team if we are playing well he is but if we are average he is. He has a role but I do think we need to move away from such reliance on him. Good player and produces moments but he can't control a game and if we are struggling he doesn't pull us out of it, he Is a specialist player who is useful for set pieces, strikes and assists but not throughout a game. Gomes needs to be the one we build this team around if you ask me.

I must say I would like to see a flat midfield three at times especially away it would give our midfielders and forwards so much more freedom. I feel like this 4231 stuff holds us back at times. With a 433 the three forwards can push right up not become wingers who have to trackback. That's basically how the RS and City play

We hardly create a plethora of chances with Gylfi as a ten but he has to play there because he is one of two players who produce goals and assists and we spent so much money on him. It's not a good set up for the team overall though . If Delph gets fit try him and Gomes ahead of Gbamin. Iwobi could also be tried at ten especially away from home for pace on the break.
