Modern football is all about pace, Sigs slows the game down so much we are at snails pace, he just doesn’t fit here.

Pace has always been a part of the game but it doesn't mean it's the single most important factor. I would kill for a Riquelme`, Inzagi or Toni about now.

I thought I remembered him playing more up top, perhaps that’s worth ago for us, because he’s woeful in midfield.

Had a very very brief spell and in the first half (made a couple of passes) and that was it. He's one of the players you would be looking too to make things happen in midfield, but he just couldn't cope against Liverpools' youth team.
