Found this quite interesting really. Yes stats are only good to an extent but everyone on this forum would probably say they want Eriksson instead of siggy. But the stats reflect that it's crap strikers that cause the issue as siggy is still achieving the same expected assists etc as when at Swansea, so is doing exactly what we wanted when we bought him. And is actually doing better than eriksson in most aspects but Eriksson has good players around him.

That's satisfactory for a 45 million pound player? That tells you all you need to know about the bias that article was written with.

Our play has become poor for a while now, give Lookman a run in the middle, instead of Sig. He is capable of doing much more there IMO, but may never even get a run playing there. Only time will tell, why not find out in the next month? Could it be any. worse than recently? Sit 2 of Davis, Gana and Gomes behind him and give him a chance! Sig can warm the bench for. 3 games!

Hit and miss. Some of his passing can be overly ambitious, especially for the prem. Not sure what that has to do with Siggurdsson being crap, but hey.

Just usually a lot of people who bash sig love gomes even though he offers very little going forward. Anyway different strokes and all that, at least you haven't called for Lookman or Bernard to play number 10. Now that is a braindead shout.
