He'd run a Spanish side, outside the top 3...we could also stand to keep the ball a little longer in the final 3rd to get him on the ball, instead of relying on crosses 75% of the time. Yeah, he had a good header against West Ham but that's not his game. We def need to be mixing it up more.

I like Gylfi as a player but I have to say that I forgot he was playing in the second half today.
Irrespective of his fee, he goes missing far too often when it really matters.

Same. This is my frustration. He's evidently got quality but we just don't see it enough. His passing was ok today but he's not looking for them killer balls that cut defences open enough, I wish he had more belief in his own ability tbh. The free kick for Keane was perfect.

I don't see crosses and corners as being a reliable part of his game despite his reputation. Passing is OK.

that's the frustrating part, we know he has qualities but he doesnt call for the ball more often.

Waste of money. Sell. Can't play wide midfield. Can't slot a ball thru as number 10, can't tackle in midfield as a 6 or even dictate play. Doesn't score free kicks. Corners lead to nothing as we're useless in the box so no need to play him for that reason either.

Didn't he meg someone and slot walcott through today? People seem to see what they want to see because they dislike certain players

Completely agree.

Let's be fair and reasonable with criticism, and not just use a defeat to have an OTT fume at the lad because of his fee.

Played Walcott in today, scored last weekend played DCL in the other week straight through on goal, set up Keane for his goal, his movement slowed Walcott to score against Bournemouth , played Walcott I’m for his sitter against saints and he played 40 mins of the first game. With decent strikers he would be on 1 goal and 4-5 assists from 5 and a half games. He’s not our biggest problem , strikers , the defence, and our CM pairing are way more of a worry tbh
