That Jelavic turned out crap too. And Coleman. And Fellaini. We should stop buying players from bad leagues.

The French league isn't a crap league at all. I haven't read the whole thread to be honest but I'm surprised people are saying that.
Sure, it isn't England, Spain, Germany or Italy, but it's right on the tails of that "top four".
An "Everton" league, if you will!
I had a really good argument to prove that it is crap but I've already posted it and I don't really want to repeat myself.
Yes all this is good but how is he on fifa 13??
I'll base my opinion on that.
38 goals in 111 games. Wouldn't really call that crap tbh.
2010/11 - 45 starts, 8 subs - 20 goals, 8 assists
2009/10 - 21 starts, 5 subs - 8 goals, 3 assists
2008/09 - 36 starts, 7 subs - 20 goals, 2 assists
It was only last season that he really fell out of favour at PSG, before then he was scoring at a ratio higher than 1 in 3.
Agreed. I like the comparison made to Peter Crouch earlier in the thread; it's a good one. Hoarau is one of those players who scores goals but never seems to inspire anyone to rave about him.
He relies on service more than most. My concern is that he scored those goals in a PSG side that were very much kings of the castle in Ligue 1 with very few sides around them coping with the overall quality they have.
Would he be anywhere near as prolific against Premier League defences is the question... My belief is that he will do very similarly to Stracqualursi, or maybe the better comparison is Pavel Pogrebnyak - shine bright for a while but then fade.
But if he's coming in until the summer on loan, then that wouldn't be too bad.
Marlet, Chamakh, Gervinho, Laslandes, Guivarch etc.
