The wheels do seem to be falling off a bit to put it mildly! The notion that kopites and United fans like to peddle, about City being a nothing club before the big money came in is bs imo.

Pre the big money they were still a big club with a decent enough history, that team in the late 60's with Lee, Summerbee and Bell etc with our own Joe Mercer as manager.

We should also be thankful to City for depriving Klopp and the rs of a couple of league titles as well.

Though he was ranting at him about something myself, Onana looked like he was trying to placate him. Just before Onana’s cringey cheerleading at the Holt End.

Not sure, Onana would be an ideal player for Pep at the moment so hed have been wise to tap him up.

Guardiola for the first time in his career is experiencing adversity.

That doesn't look too chummy to me, bud.

Pep in his 8 year tenure at City has sold:
Brahim Diaz to Madrid.
Rodgers to Middlesbrough.
Palmer to Chelsea.
Sancho to Dortmund.
Lavia to Southampton.
Ko Itakura to Gladbach
Pedro Porro to Sporting
Douglas Luiz to Villa.
Delap to Ipswich.
Trafford to Burnley
Allowed Aleix Garcia to leave for free now at Leverkusen and a fully capped Spanish international.

Saw that online somewhere

Hes not going to keep everyone happy but surely he would loan players first, have a look at them so he wont make so many errors?

Of course, in hindsight, there's a few there that are questionable.

But I think back to Jose having Salah and KDB at Chelsea. Salah never looked likely and he chose to keep Courtois when either he or KDB had to go. The right decision at the time, no doubt.

They got some serious fees for some of those players on that list; players who never got close to starting either at all or regularly...and with buy back clauses on some.

Palmer was in the squad, but refused to be loaned, so was sold.

Morgan Rogers was miles away when he left for Boro, etc etc etc.
