Indeed - they are always going to score one - it looks like he is really setting up for the CL, he has blown so many chances due to defensive breakdowns

I don’t think they can win the CL unless they sort out the top of the pitch. Sterling and Mahrez miss far too many simple chances and in big CL games that will end up hurting them. If they get Aguero fit and in form though then that changes it and they may well end up being a contender if they remain watertight at the back.

I think the presence of Dias has helped Stones. His form has been great but Dias looks like he’s a good communicator and centre half defending is exactly what it says on the tin. Good partnerships. They compliment each other.

You're right pal. Not only that but Dias is showing leadership qualities not seen since Kompany. Still only 23 but looks so assured for his age and captain material. His communication and encouragement is definitely helping Stones. Lapore(pre injury) looked un stoppable but he will struggle to get his place back in league games.

Laporte is contracted to City until 2025.
Not a chance Pep will let him go anywhere near Liverpool.
I could see him leaving City before then but not to them.

tbh I had written him off and was thinking if someone came in with any sort of offer he would have been sold, seems to have got his mojo back and is playing very well, getting back the the previous levels he was at imo.
