To be honest, if the buggers have clinched it before the derby and if the people that run EFC roll over and announce in advance they will allow us to have our noses rubbed in it like this then I for one will be swerving the game.

And I don’t give a toss if it is protocol or custom or owt like that at all.

I have rolled with many a punch EFC have given me over half a century but this wouid be a step too far.

Can you link me to the RED ECHO story? Cos I cant find it.

And if they win the title on Derby Day we wont give them a guard of honour, we only have to give them 1 if they win it before the game and are Champions before the game.

It says an Everton spokesman has confirmed that we will give a guard of honour.

I hesitate to question the credibility of the Daily Star, of course, but I'm sure they wouldn't in haste print something that later transpired to be totally false.

It's not protocol, The guard of honor only happens if B O T H clubs agree to it, I'm against specially at Goodison and wouldn't be happy if they accepted it.
