Regardless, just looked for the first time at the knockout stages and if the get through it appears to me as though England will play Senegal or Japan. I don’t think they could’ve asked for better than that.

some players are meh and/or don't fit with their national team. Also sterling's mistakes at Man City aren't as noticeable against say Big Sam because they are going to win anyway and our manager's goal is to lose 2-0.
