Why no yellow for Neymar dive for penalty? He should be off. If Brazil win this it'll be a travesty. Costa Rica have done superbly. Referee has been excellent. Haven't seen such a strong refereeing performance for a long time.

the ball was at his feet, he could have shot even after the briefest of contact but decided to pretend he'd been dragged to the ground instead

that was absolutely the best use of VAR and in the best circumstances it could be used

Just from personal experience it's beyond annoying when it happens in football and it's definitely a foul in my eyes. An ridiculously soft one but there was no intention to play the ball.
