Just don't see why you'd persist with Sterling and not give Sancho the chance here. It's not quite a dead rubber but England's problem in the past has been no consequence for failure of star players, which is why the Lampard/Gerrard axis of evil was allowed to persist.
I've got a theory on that, I reckon either implicitly or explicitly successive England managers get leant on to play 'big name' players for commercial reasons.

John stones showing the benefits of playing alongside gylfi a few years ago; his pointing has come on in leaps and bounds. I dont think I've ever seen a player who is so blatantly scared of making a mistake.

Sancho has been muck for England IMO. He's behind Rashford, Grealish, Saka, Foden for any wide position for me.
