Totally respect that, I wasn't going to watch but don't have the fortitude to swerve.

What's the documentary name? I loved that world cup, not least because the teams were genuinely unknown to me by and large. Different world, different sport, would go back there in a heartbeat.

Don't see the Saudis seeing this one out.

Its called Green Lions.

Fair warning, a lot of subtitles. So not one to have in the background.

I'm just not seeing it lads

Call me a wide eyed optimist, but I genuinely think this is down more to cack officiating than it is dodginess

However, I will sit on the fence a bit longer so I can say I always agreed with you guys just in case something obviously dodgy happens
I'm not saying FIFA are determining the results, but they are creating "moments" in games and narratives which can sometimes end up influencing results. I don't think it is too far of a stretch.

Remember, FIFA control the TV rights and what gets shown. They have been found out in the past for showing clips of fans from different games to sell a narrative. If I rember correctly, they showed a woman crying in the crowd at a match, but the woman came out to say she wasn't even at that game and they'd used a clip of her from a previous match.

As I'm a massive saddo, I've just taken that screengrab into AutoCAD, and using trigonometry and fractional spacing, drawn as accurate lines as I can.

Yes, I am fun at parties.

Hey, I got told by an objective super knowledgeable and experienced soccer fan that it was offside because squeaky clean never before corrupt FIFA said so.
