Totally agree but football and alcohol make it more likely and more frequent. Not sure how much campaign's like that will help though either, because the pond life that do it, won't stop because they read that.

Well that was awful. But we are basically through unless we get battered by an awful Wales side. And given the way group A is playing out it’s not clear whether finishing 1st or 2nd is preferable. Southgate’s depressing pragmatism seems to pay off once again. I’d have rather we actually had a go though rather than being bored to death and made to feel way more uncomfortable than necessary.

Bringing on Henderson ahead of Foden should be a sackable offence though. Starting Mount ahead of him is bad enough.

Another wake up call for England, but is that any surprise with Southgate at the helm. When you leave arguably England’s best talent (Foden) on the bench, I think it says more about the ability of the manager than the players selected ahead of him. England were fortunate to get a draw tonight. They were second best for long periods.
