The Americans certainly did warn us before, that Gregg Berhalter was a rubbish manager, and I guess you were right.

First half a mix of Wales Nerves/Mismanagement and a good game plan should have had you out of sight. Instead he’s sat back and tried to defend a 1-0 lead.

Don’t think any Welsh fan will deny they were terrible first half and the game was there for the taking.

Think both sides need to massively improve, but weirdly, I feel momentum shifts to Wales now, who avoid the English til the last game.

Certainly poised to be a cracking group. Excited to see how it pans out.

….you associate professionalism, athleticism, attitude and application from US football teams. I think that performance was unlike what you’d expect. The momentum is with Wales & I can see them qualifying from the group.

USA or Wales get a win against Iran and get something other than a spanking against England...one will go through.
Pretty much going to come down to GD imo. Still think Wales and US beat Iran. Whoever can run up the score on them/get less tonked by England will go through. Tbh I expect Wales to go through as England will likely have less incentive to go all out in that last game vs Wales. We desperately need a point vs England now

Thinking the same.

I think it was more Wales awakening from their stupor and playing higher up the pitch with longer balls pinning the USA back and also using a high press that turned the game.

Of course, the USA manager needed to anticipate that and be ready to meet the challenge by getting players on the pitch who could play on the counter attack. In the end though it was only a crude challenge on Bale that broke them down.

Yeah but John Hartson cummed in his pants and called him a miracle man for converting a penalty.
He views the game as a veteran who thonks veterans still have a role to play on the pitch.

The fact of the matter as that with Ramsey and Bale stinking the place out Wales were playing with 9 men.

The Welsh manager is carrying around a tribute act rather than picking a winning team. He needs to show strenght and drop at least one of those two for the Iran game.
