In local news, this was seen in someone's backyard today in the Redland Bay area. Non-venomous though, but will give a nasty bite. Apparently, a frequent visitor. At a reasonable guess, the guy watches where he steps, and his yard is possum- and cat-free!
You seen those python hunters in the everglades? Some of those boyo's are bigger than boats!
Certainly not in the Burmese Python class. And this one is particularly large one--they're usually somewhat smaller.
