Brief Encounter, if only because Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto #2, which plays throughout, is an absolute banger. Good film too.

Spoiler: Movie Ending

The ending, after Daniel Day-Lewis bludgeons that preacher to death with a bowling pin, and his servant walks in to say what all the commotion was about, to which he exclaims: ‘I’M FINISHED!’
The movie then abruptly finishes, and the final movement of Brahms’s violin concerto kicks in, just as the movie credits start to roll up on the screen:

I picked a physical copy of this up recently. Never seen the film, nor heard any of the soundtrack, but it appears to have something on it by Faith No More that I've never heard...

In reply to the op, I'm a fan of some slightly 'cheesy' ones like Rocky and Young Guns II.
