Grandad or Uncle Albert?

Just watching some classic Only Fools on Gold now. The early episodes are true gems, but i thought some of the later ones with Unc Albert in we're superb also.

Who do you think is the better elder Trotter?

I agree, just watching now as well, each was in a class of their own. Neither could be classed as better than the other IMO. Grandad was great with the younger Trotters, however it needed a 'younger' uncle albert to bring a new dimenson.

Tough one. I liked them both. Grandad was great but uncle Albert is funny as well. I think the older ones were the funniest though, when they both got married it wasn't as funny for me as they were loveable losers.
